Update on GM Diet!
Alright so It’s been while I posted anything but I am keep getting emails and questions about GM diet Indian version.
GM diet is nothing but way to detoxing your system. It’s a quick fix for those who are looking to drops some weight in a week or so.
Does this really work?
Yes and No!
Yes it does works just like any other diet to help you lose weight in short period of time.
No, because as soon as you go back to normal routine you will gain everything or in some case more.
Well then what is my option to lose weight and keep it off?
There is only one way to lose weight for anyone and that is to workout 5-6days a week and follow balance diet.
Since my last post after following this GM diet I did lose and gained weight. After doing a lot of reading and research I find the truth which is plain and simple, balanced diet and workout.
I recorded my highest weight around 210lbs, yes shocking 210lbs and that’s when I realized I need to do something. I started working out everyday and still wasn’t getting any results. I was little confused why am I not losing weight? I realize I need to change diet so I cut down on my lunch big time.
Cutting down on lunch helped me lose 10lbs in very short time, I was happy I thought “Yes, I am on right track” then I was stuck at 190lbs range few pounds up and down but didn’t lose anything.
Confusion, what’s going on? I thought I was on the right track. I got little side track and baam! I am back to 197lbs Damn! Everything I did is no good.
So basically I had to start from scratch, I did some more research and found that I was wrong on cutting down on my lunch. I need to have heavy breakfast, proper lunch (don’t over fill yourself) followed by an apple around 3pm and protein shake prior to workout. For dinner I have to go for fruits, salad or soup.
Now I am at 183 and my target weight is 170. Only 13lbs more to go woo hoo! I know I am going to lose on a slower pace because I am also gaining muscles at the same time I am burning fat.
According to my height 5’10” my ideal weight should be around 170lbs. So I wanted to share with you guys that don’t fall for this quick fix as they don’t last at all.
Go for balanced diet and proper workout plan. Trust me there are plenty of websites out there with free information for you to live a healthy life.
