“You are not the father”

Posted by T. Waffle on September 27, 2007

I’ve been watching this show called “Maury” from Monday. It is so true that only mother can tell who the baby’s father is, but this show proved that is not true. Today morning I saw the show where a lady came on show for 13th time to find the father of her 4yr old girl. When I heard 13th appearance my jaw dropped. Thirteenth time! I don’t understand why the heck she is sleeping with thirteen different men. Not only had that but unprotected sex!

It is so funny to watch when the lady comes on the show; she claims she is million percent sure about who’s the father of her baby. They have the most ridicules attitude until Maury read the results “You are not the father” To me it’s like she know he is not the father, she just wait for Maury to give the results and runs like someone just light her chair on fire. Next thing you know she is laying on a floor busting into fake tears, but the best part is the guy who she brought for the DNA test, breaking the floor with some crazy dance moves. Audient which booed him when he was called on stage is now giving him high five.

I love this show; I guess I am going to watch each morning to get nice laughing start for the day.

Shootout at Delaware State University

Posted by T. Waffle on September 21, 2007

I was million % sure that something like this going to take place. I hate media for giving hype to the Virginia Tech shootout, they don’t realize that psycho people gets all their ideas from TV. One sick guy shot 30 people in VT and thousands of psychos all over the world got the idea to do such act. Here is the example not too far from Virginia.
Shooting in Delaware State University, does that mean now schools are the most unsafe place?

DOVER, Delaware (CNN) — Police combed the Delaware State University campus on Friday for a man who shot two students, leaving a woman in a “potentially life-threatening” condition, a school spokesman said.

The university was on lockdown after the shootings near the Memorial Hall sports arena, which university police said were reported Friday at 12:54 a.m. ET .

“Until the suspect is apprehended, students, faculty and staff are being directed to remain in their buildings until further notice,” a school statement said.

The female student was shot twice; the male was shot once, said spokesman Carlos Holmes. They were taken to Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover, Delaware’s capital.

Several law enforcement agencies were aiding the search, he said.

Midget Dancing on 2PAC’s Song.

Posted by T. Waffle on September 21, 2007

This is by far the coolest bearded Oompa Loompa I have ever seen. This is really hilarious. It seems to be a migdget lead singer of a group that dances strangely to a song that they don’t sing.

hahahahaahah

Why people always ask “love marriage or arrange?”

Posted by T. Waffle on September 11, 2007

Does it really matter whether it’s arrange marriage or love marriage? Why people are so curious to know and judge others by how they got married. Most of the time when the discussion of arrange married v. love marriage start people loves to mention that arrange marriage are more successful than love marriage. Is it really? Think again, based on how many people are taking divorce from their love marriage doesn’t give you the 100% accurate results that arrange marriage is more successful. To be honest with you, love marriage and arrange marriages are equal.

Before I get into detail explanation let’s make things bit clear. Let’s start with the meaning of love marriage and arrange marriage. Love marriage does NOT mean a male and a female run away and get married in a temple on a hill. It simply means when two people find the common ground and decided to spend the rest of their lives together to face the good and the bad situation. In other words, when a guy and a girl decided to marry each other with out the help of their parents (that does not mean they are not telling their parents).

Arrange marriage means you find your life partner with the help of your parents and family member. The logic in both the scenario is the same. Find a common ground, comfort level, attraction, and education etc. I believe most people observe the number of divorce from love marriage against arrange marriage, but they are missing the point where in arrange marriage there is a lot to compromise. Not that love marriages don’t have compromises, but to me it seems arrange marriage have more.

Love marriage is a personal decision where there is less involvement of family, family prestige and society. Arrange marriage is decided based on two or more number of families. When it comes to divorce or any major issue to address, people involved in love marriage, most of the time, take the decision by themselves. In arrange marriage when the couple is facing similar problem they try to involve their parents and family members for help. When family engage in solving any issue they do very silently as it involves their status in society. I visit few website where people come to get help for problem they are facing in their marriage life. Believe me majority people are coming from arrange marriage, the first reason they mention is they don’t like to ruin their family’s status in society. Another reason is they are afraid their family will think her/his in-laws are not good people (human nature – people believe when something is wrong with their loved one it is always other parties fault) It’s hard to get both sides of story and decide who is right and wrong!

What I am trying to express here is, what you see is not always true. If you go deep down you will find the facts. To me both arrange and love marriages are equal but to make your marriage successful communicate with your spouse. Try to address any issue you are facing together. Express your feeling doesn’t matter whether it’s a minor or major concern. Communication in marriage life is the key of success.

Menlo Park Mall Shooting

Posted by T. Waffle on September 10, 2007

Menlo Park Mall was packed with shoppers, and the gunman, carrying a .357 revolver, was hunting for his ex-girlfriend, authorities said.

He found his target, 22-year-old Maliha Janjua, shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, working at the Gymboree children’s clothing store. He opened fire, and Janjua staggered, bleeding, from the store, collapsing amid a crowd of horrified onlookers, authorities said yesterday.

The gunman, Raynell Anaya, 23, then turned the revolver around and killed himself, according to a press release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. The mall erupted into a panic of shrieking customers.

“I heard people screaming ‘the boy is dead’ then saw her stumble out, all bloody, clutching her throat,” said Faizah Khalid, 17, who works at Bandolino, two stores down from Gymboree.

Anaya, who lived in South River, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Janjua, of Carteret, remained in critical condition last night in the intensive care unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with injuries authorities have described as non-life-threatening.

“She is going to be okay,” said a woman who answered the phone at Janjua’s home but declined to give her name.

It is unclear what precipitated the shooting. Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan did not return calls yesterday and officials at the mall declined to comment, as did members of the victim’s family.

This is simply sad, why in public place? I seriously hate psycho like this guy who tend to give ideas to other psychos. People with mantel illness don’t realize how much terror they spread around the globe by doing this kind of idiotic act. Not only have they given ideas to others who don’t care about the consequences but also scares people who work in mall and live near by. This shows where we stand, public place like mall are not safe anymore.

Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag: Review

Posted by T. Waffle on September 7, 2007

Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag doesn’t come anywhere close to the real thing, Ramesh Sippy ’s Sholay .

Unlike the original film, ‘RGV Ki Aag’ has nothing that leaves a lasting impression on a viewer. The movie is a mere assorted collection of Varma’s own interpretation of scenes from the original. There is no cohesive linear flow in the story. The dialogues, with frequent references to America, Iraq and Al Qaeda, are horribly amateurish. Nowhere close to the mastery of Salim and Javed in the original.
Varma was seemingly very obsessed with the idea of remaking ‘Sholay’. But he did not realize the mammoth task of recreating the same magic. And in his blind zeal and obsession, Varma has floundered big time.

Firstly, he cast wrong actors in the roles of Hero and Raj. Ajay Devgan (as Hero) doesn’t have the flair to tickle the funny bone. And newcomer Prashant Raj (as brooding Raj) simply doesn’t know how to act. With these two pivotal roles going to inappropriate actors, the movie is already half sunk. Only Mohanlal and Sushmita Sen look convincing in their respective roles.

Ramu has given a very different interpretation to the character of Babban Singh (originally Gabbar). His Babban looks menacing, repulsive and fatigued. He is a bit psychotic with a slight caricaturish streak. And yet you don’t dread this character half as much as you did Gabbar Singh. Unlike the latter, there is not a single dialogue of Babban Singh that you would carry home with you.

‘RGV Ki Aag’ stays loyal to ‘Sholay’ as far as the basic plot of the story is concerned. Two small-time crooks, Hero (Ajay Devgan) and Raj (Prashant Raj) catch the eye of honest police inspector Narsimha (Mohanlal) because of their bravery. Later, Narsimha hires them to catch the dreaded and notorious gangster Babban Singh Amitabh Bachchan ) who killed Narsimha’s family and cut off his fingers.

Hero and Raj arrive in Kaliganj where Hero falls for the charm of a beautiful auto-rickshaw driver Ghungroo ( Nisha Kothari ) while Raj develops feelings for the grim widow Durga (Sushmita Sen).

As Heero and Raj begin cracking down on Babban Singh and his men, battle lines are drawn. Babban, along with his henchman Thambi ( Sushant Singh ), will fight to the bitter end to eliminate the two brave recruits of Narsimha.

Ram Gopal Varma gives his own twist to the story and characters of the original movie. But he does incorporate some scenes from ‘Sholay’. Like the scene when Hero threatens to commit suicide if Ghungroo’s mother does not agree to marry her with him. Or Hero teaching shooting to Ghungroo. Or Durga nursing a wounded Raj.

What Ramu fails to do is to create a right chemistry between the characters. For instance, you don’t see and feel any camaraderie between Heero and Raj. Even the muted love between Raj and Durga is bland. To cut to the chase, Ramu fails big time as a director.

The cinematography by Amit Roy is brilliant, but Amar Mohile’s background score is terrible. Even the film’s songs are just mediocre compositions and the much talked-about Mehbooba Mehbooba (with special appearance by Urmila Matondkar and Abhishek Bachchan ) is not a patch on RD Burman’s composition.

The movie could have been salvaged only through performances, but there too one meets with disappointment only. Ajay Devgan is just average. Prashant Raj can’t act. Nisha Kothari hams. Mohanlal is good and Sushmita Sen is very expressive. Amitabh Bachchan does his best to enact Ramu’s interpretation of Babban Singh.

All in all, ‘RGV Ki Aag’ is a letdown. The movie only reminds you how great and matchless the real ‘Sholay’ was and is.

Now you can say thank you to me as I will save you $8 to $9 bucks. You can watch the movie when it comes on VHS or DVD for a buck or two.
