`Heyy Babyy breaks box office records`

Posted by T. Waffle on August 30, 2007

Sajid Nadiadwala’s HEYY BABYY, directed by debutant Sajid Khan, starring Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan has taken a block buster opening worldwide with a record shattering opening weekend collection of Rs. 41 crore.

HEYY BABYY has also taken the biggest opening in the US this year and the biggest screen average (6039 pounds) in the UK. The film has already debuted at number 10 at the UK box office this week end. It is also touted to be Akshay Kumar’s biggest opening ever and is touted to takeover as the ‘Overseas King’ with consecutive hits overseas. A super success in the 3 major international markets in the US and UK, and in Australia reaching the coveted $ 100,000 mark in the opening week end.

“Audience reactions world-wide to HEYY BABYY have been extremely encouraging. With Sajid Khan’s direction and talent like Akshay, Fardeen, Ritesh and Vidya, HEYY BABYY was bound to be a stupendous hit,” says Mr. Sunil Lulla, President Eros International.

Wow! Can’t wait till I watch the movie “HEYY BABYY”. I haven’t watched the movie yet but I always liked Akshay Kumar’s acting. I am definitely going to check this one out in theaters. Most of the people were saying it’s a stupid movie; it has to be stupid to make you laugh. But anyways I will post my review once I check it out.

ShahRukh Khan – Aishwarya Rai: Overrated or Underrated?

Posted by T. Waffle on August 29, 2007

I came across lot of diehard fan of SRK and Aishwarya Rai, but most of the people don’t like them. Which triggered if majority people I know don’t like SRK and Ash then why are they overrated? It always feels like he is over-doing it – everything, comedy, drama, romance, sentimental – just everything seems unnatural, exaggerated and larger than life. Also, there is hardly any variety in the type of characters he plays.

Same for ASH, she is seriously annoying, she can’t act, and she hardly can dance. All fame she got was from her Miss World crown. For me, she is overrated. None of her movies were super hit because of her. Also the hype of Abhishek and Ash’s weeding was out of control. It was hilarious how local people were not at all interested in their weeding.

From different award function, interviews and reviews I felt they both got attitude and ego problem. SRK’s stereotype acting is now out of control, it makes movie more boring where ASH is over doing it. Take the example of Aamir Khan, if you compare any of his movies you won’t find the same stereotype acting.

SRK Overrated, ASH Overrated Aamir Khan Underrated.

Feel free to express your rating for any actor or actress.

Kama Sutra – The Path to Happy & Healthy life.

Posted by T. Waffle on August 28, 2007

What is the first image comes to your mind when someone mentions “Kama Sutra”? Obviously, you will have different answers from different people. A book, a literature on sex, an art of love making, and a porn movie where I believe it is a greatest book for a healthy, happy, sexy and enjoyable life. I also believe not only this book teaches you different ways of sex position but it also teaches you different ways of life. You must be wondering what the heck this guy is talking about? How can the books on sex (love making) teach you anything besides sex? Here is why I feel it can turn your life around.

Sex or love making whatever term your comfortable with, both have same meaning, is important part of anyone’s life. A healthy sex gives you great satisfaction, amazing relaxation and awesome conversation. If you are sexually active you know what I am talking about, once you get satisfaction from your sexual performance you automatically feel relaxed, no stress around. That leads you to a very interesting or happy conversation. This book teaches you different sex positions which are highly erotic and pleasurable. Every time when you perform a different position you get satisfaction. This again leads you to relax mood and makes you happy. There is another part affects your satisfaction which is your and your partner’s performance, how can one perform better? Health and fitness is the answer.

To be a healthy person you need to eat and exercise. I am talking about a regular balanced diet and daily exercise. A healthy way of living gives you more energy, energy helps you perform better in your daily routine. If you perform better than before makes you happy, what else can you ask for? You should also think about your personal appearance, which of course plays important role for better sex life. If your body is in a good shape you attract your partner more than a guy with hanging belly. The balanced diet not only flushes your systems but it also gives you positive attitude towards your decision. A sound knowledge of sexual intercourse and different position helps you and your partner to get rid of all your stress. To discuss and get more information regarding love making won’t hurt anyone. It is going to help you live a happy and healthy life.

I recently came across a website where people search for help regarding their sex life issue. The website is entirely dedicated for Indian community but everyone is allowed to join and share their experience. I can’t believe how many couples in India suffer because of lack of communication in their relationship. I as a South-Asian do not feel uncomfortable talking or discussing about sex with my partner. Because I am aware of the consequences, we should be rather proud that “Kama Sutra” was invented in India. Each and everyone should read the book. It is a great book and teaches you more than only sexual positions.

Seven DO NOT after a meal

Posted by T. Waffle on August 27, 2007

* Don’t smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).

* Don’t eat fruits immediately – eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

* Don’t drink tea – Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

* Don’t loosen your belt – Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted &blocked.

* Don’t bathe – Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.

* Don’t walk about – People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

* Don’t sleep immediately – The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Career Path

Posted by T. Waffle on August 24, 2007

Career Path

Every morning I wake up turn on my TV while having my morning tea to watch news. I always come across different commercial of private colleges and universities about choosing the right career path. I wonder how you choose your career path. I look back in my life and I realized it took me 25 years to find out what I want to do for the rest of my life. That is ¼ of my life; I still have to do the same work for another ¾ of my life. How would I know if I made the right choice? Is it based on how much money I am making right now or how much I will make in future or is the job which I am doing and enjoying? To me the job satisfaction plays more vital role than money. I came across lot of people who consider money is important than anything, but I strongly believe after certain period of time he/she will get tired of the work because they are not satisfied with what he/she is doing.

There are million ways of earning quick cash if you are too desperate for money. A smart investment, a hobby as side business, part-time job etc. but nobody wants to work more and earn. People are always in search of easy money. I rather get more education and experience in the work I love than taking up a job which just pays more. We are living in the world where ethics doesn’t mean anything anymore. It is all about money. In today’s world it is considered achievement if you can afford all possible luxuries, expensive phone, purse, brand name dress, luxurious car and many more. Why are we lost in comparison, status, and society? Can money buy job satisfaction? I don’t think so. But a satisfied job can sure get the money you deserve and possibly all the luxuries. It sound so easy but no one want to take that into consideration. I came across one person at my work who is with the company for last 20 years. He enjoyed every second of his life working at this place and is totally satisfied. He started with internship and today he has vice-president status besides his name.

All I want to express here is no matter what field or job you have job satisfaction is very important. Love your job it doesn’t matter where you work. If you love your job then you will work hard and smart. Believe in yourself, do your work honestly and success will be find you. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this matter, thanks for reading.

GM Diet: Indian Version

Posted by T. Waffle on August 20, 2007

GENERAL MOTORS WEIGHT LOSS DIET
The following diet and health program was developed for the employees and the dependents of General Motors Inc., US of A. The program was developed in conjuration with the grant from the US Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. It was field tested in the Johns Hopkins Research Center and was approved for distributed by the Board of Directors of General Motors Corporation at a general meeting on August 15, 1995.
General Motors Corporation wholly endorsed this program and is making it available to all employees and families. This program will be available at all General Motors food service facilities. It is the Management’s intention to implement a welfare and fitness program for everyone.

This program is designed for a target weight loss of 10-15Lbs(5-6 Kg.) per week. It will also improve your attitude and emotions because of its systematic cleaning effects. The effectiveness of this seven day plan is that the foods eaten burn more calories than they give to the body in caloric value. This plan can be used as often as you like to without any fear of complications. It is designed to flush your system of impurities and give you a feeling of well being. After seven days you will begin to feel lighter by atleast 10 pounds. You will have an abundance of energy and an improved disposition.

During the seven days you must drink 10 glasses of water each day.

DAY ONE: All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consist of all fruits you want. It is suggested you consume lots of melons the first day, especially watermelon and cantloupe.

DAY TWO: All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat all raw and cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount of type. Avoid oil and coconut while cooking vegetables.
Have large boiled potato for breakfast.

DAY THREE: Any mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity. No bananas yet and no potatoes today.

DAY FOUR: Banana and milk. Today you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses of milk. You can also have 1 bowl of vegetable soup.

DAY FIVE: Today is feast day. You will eat 1 cup of rice. You also have to eat about six whole tomatoes and drink 12 glasses of water today to cleanse your system of the excess uric acid you will be producing.

DAY SIX: Today is another all vegetables day. You must eat 1 cup of rice today and eat all the vegetable you want cooked and uncooked to your hearts content.

DAY SEVEN: Today your food intake will consist of 1 cup rice, fruit juice and the vegetables you care to consume. Tomorrow morning you will be 10 lbs (five Kgs) lighter than 1 week ago.

Tomorrow morning you will be 10-17 lbs. lighter than one week ago. If you desire further weight loss, repeat the program again. You may repeat this program as often as you like, however, it is suggested that you are allowed two glasses of white wine in addition to the instructions on the program. You may substitute champagne for white wine. Under no circumstances are you to drink any other alcoholic beverages with the exception of beer which is allowed. Any liquor (bourbon, vodka, rum) is forbidden. Cream drinks are especially forbidden. You may have an occasional cordial such as creme de menthe or schnapps, but you must always limit yourself to two drinks. If you wine, drink only wine that day. If you have beer, drink only beer that day, etc. Alcohol adds empty calories to your diet. However, after the first week it will help your digestion and settle your stomach.

If you desire further weight loss, repeat the program again. Repeat the program as often as you like, however, it is suggested that you rest for three days before every repetition.
My friend followed the program as described here, but made our his adjustments like eating guacamole as one of the vegetables. Probably not a good choice, but it tasted so good (as per him). On day four, he made a vegetable soup with onion, green pepper, tomatoes, carrots, and cabbage. Something similar to Manchao soup that you get in “Indian Chinese” restaurants. Also for day five, he made tomato soup instead of eating raw tomatoes.

How and Why It Works

Day One you are preparing your system for the upcoming programme. Your only source of nutrition is fresh or canned fruits. Fruits are nature’s perfect food. They provide everything you could possibly want to sustain life except total balance and variety.

Day Two starts with a fix of complex carbo-hydrates coupled with an oil dose. This is taken in the morning for energy and balance. The rest of day two consists of vegetables which are virtually calorie free and provide essential nutrients and fibre.

Day Three eliminates the potato because you get your carbohydrates from the fruits. You system is now prepared to start burning excess pounds. You will still have cravings which should start to diminish by day four.

Day Four, bananas, milk and soup sound the strangest and least desirable. You’re in for a surprise. You probably will not eat all the bananas allowed. But they are there for the potassium you have lost and the sodium you may have missed the past three days. You will notice a definite loss of desire for sweets. You will be surprised how easy this day will go.

Day Five, Beef and tomatoes. The beef is for iron and proteins, the tomatoes are for digestion and fibre. Lots and lots of water purifies your system. You should notice colourless urine today. Your allowance calls for the equivalent of five “quarter ponders”. Do not feel you have to eat all this beef. You must eat the six tomatoes.

Day Six is similar to day five, Iron and proteins from beef, Vitamins and fibre from vegetables. By now your system is in a total weight loss inclination. There should be a noticeable difference in the way you look today, compared to day one.

Day Seven finished off the program like a good cigar used to finish off Victorian meals, except much healthier. You have your system under control and it should thank you for the flushing and cleaning you just gave it.
